Once again

Sweeping major news under the rug.

If this protest was over police brutality (real or imagined), “racism,” or Palestine, it would be the topic of endless coverage.  Once again, establishment media deliberately asleep at the wheel.

 Knowledge and passion.

 White Supremicist.

“Controversy” from me but not from thee…

Amazing that conservative personalities and ideals are continually labled, “controversial” and “divisive” by establishment media.   Lables like these are literally never applied to the most radical ideas and thought on the left.  For them we only hear, “left of center,” “left-leaning,” or “liberal.”  In faux-journalism, you can be a communist terrorist and still be described as “progressive.” It’s a good thing that this level of transparent dishonesty is becoming evermore widely known.

Extreme ultra far right-wing fascist Nazi white supremicist…and father of two.

As noted in an earlier post, my knowledge of Charlie Kirk was little beyond occasional clips of short interviews or noteworthy exchanges with campus students. He was clearly smart and well-mannered.  I never saw him exhibit the nut-case venom one regularly sees from the Jacobin caste (remember, they want their “revolution” and they want it now).

After Kirk’s assasination I began watching several past debates and the reactions various people had of his passing. Clearly those that knew him well really liked him.  Even among those who disagreed with him, he appeared to be respected (e.g. Bill Maher).  Like all significant “news” events, coverage will fade over time but, for now, I’m struck by the increasing intensity of people’s reactions to his death.  He really does appear to have been a sincere and decent person.

The “opposition” are now showing their true colors, with insane and rabid vitriol complete with the expected fabrications regarding what Kirk believed or said.  He was definitely a conservative, something that, in itself, shouldn’t be a problem anymore than being a “liberal” (never to be confused with leftist).  As far as I’ve seen thus far, I see no evidence of his being an “Extreme ultra far right wing fascist Nazi white supremicist.”  Of course now, anyone who isn’t fully on board with a communist coup d' ètat is branded that or worse.  The callousness of some responses to his assasination have been horrid.  In each case I’ve seen, the person spewing their hatred toward Charlie Kirk has inevitably added supposed stances and statements completely fabricated.  Among them, for example, Stephan King’s absurd imaginary quote of Kirk saying that gays should be “stoned to death.”  King later had to apologise when it was clear that Charlie Kirk had never uttered or suggested such nonsense.  In addition to projection, the pathological left has a thing for the straw man. In their paranoid fantasyland, anyone favoring tradition, security and prosperity is a spawn of the Third Reich.  Kirk’s suspected assassin had apparently scratched an Italian Antifa slogan on the weapon he used.  …Antifa, there’s a surprise. They really are an evil bunch. Supposedly “fighting fascism” they’re the epitome of violent fascist authoritarian thought (and action).  Can one imagine what kind of a world we’d be living in with these people in charge.

I’m sure many are turned off by the religious references surrounding Kirk and his death.  He doesn’t seem to have possessed the hypocricy so often found among the religious.  He actually possessed a rare balance between genuine conviction without the prudishness one so often finds when hearing Christian references.  Watching his wife’s brief comments after his death was moving — trying to answer her daughter when she wondered where “daddy is.”

I’m sick of the many articles currently about describing Kirk as “right wing firebrand,” “controversial,” or “extreme….”  The transparent dishonesty of the media has become sickening.

He was obviously a unique individual at least worthy of respect at his passing.  A nice guy with a wife and two kids.

Projection on full display

An individual can obviously think anything they want but a decent person will at least pretend to exhibit some degree of solemn respect for a violent death.  The left is incapable of decency or respect.

From the Babylon Bee

Democrats condem their violent rhetoric

“I unequivocally condemn all violent attacks against evil Nazi transphobes who are an existential threat to democracy and who must be eliminated at all costs," said Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to reporters. "Charlie Kirk was an evil, violent fascist who loved genocide and wants trans kids to die, but that doesn't mean we should shoot him or anything."

If they’re going to call you “full of hate,” direct your hate to a worthy source.

“Extreme ultra far right wing extremism”

Soon, they’ll be calling for free speech and limited government 😱

Well, that didn’t take long…

Assasination…

 For mundane political thought.

I wasn’t a big “follower” of Charlie Kirk beyond viewing a few short You Tube clicks.  From those instances where he debated issues on college campuses he sounded like an effective speaker making sober points on the issues of the day.   In short, his views appeared to me to be pretty mundane political thought.

In an age where any view to the right of Mao Zedong is branded “far ultra extreme right” by the leftist hordes that rule over our cultural venues, it seemed to me that his views were pretty much in line with traditional conservative Republican thinking.

The establishment media will now go out of their way to suggest that “maybe he went too far” for merely articulating an objective view. We’ll also be reminded that there have been assassins with beliefs across the spectrum. While that is true, I’d bet that the leftists far outnumber garden variety conservatives in the degree of rabid bile they constantly express.  Tik Tok videos are full of nutcases screeching about the “fascist,” “racist,”  “homophobic” views of people who merely belive in limited government, a sane appraisal of current events, and the desire to live in a society that is stable and decent.

I usually don’t address the “gun issue.”  I certainly support the second amendment but it’s not an issue that holds my attention much.  The Jacobin crowd will certainly use this current act of violence to dive into their desire to see guns owned by law-abiding citizens confiscated.

Of course more than a few pundits will somehow see Charlie Kirk’s murder as a result of “Donald Trump’s rhetoric.”

…turbulent times.

“Trust the science,”  but hold some reasonable skepticism toward the scientists (or in THIS case, doctors).

The more I see of THIS the sicker I get. Meanwhile the pathetic clowns of establishment journalism, going for days of non-reporting, now go into default mode with their usual litanies about “racism” and other excuses in defense of criminals.

Don’t even watch the newly released video footage of the victim cowering before falling to the floor in her final seconds.

Enough of the leftist worldview. Decent people can’t endure it anymore.

 Can NOT hate them enough.

Maintaining the perimeter

One needn’t be wealthy to wish to retain property. Property is a reflection of values and choices.  Even wolves and lions know what parcel of land is “theirs.” Watch a stretch of high tension wire with a line of crows on it. A newcomer flies in and “everybody” readjusts their location to maintain ownership of a section of space a bird can call one’s own.

We all have property.  Your body belongs to you. From there, one’s sense of ownership extends from brief acquisitions (e.g. food) to plots of real estate.  Some people accumulate lots of property. Some, not so much. Some crave expansion of their holdings. Others, content with limitation.   The dynamics of what one acquires, maintains, or loses are complex.

There have always been people who see the amount of ownership some hold as “unfair,” yet most people with property want to keep that property and have a say in how it is utilized. After all, it’s “theirs.”

Much of political philosophy revolves around the desire by those who control a governing structure to determine who gets what.  Beyond the free exchange of property enters the concept of theft.  Theft requires little expenditure of energy. One doesn’t earn objects of desire by simple seizure. Government seldom earns anything.  Their method of acquiring wealth, property and power is to make a philosophical argument as to why their expertise is required to determine who gets what.

Much of what one owns is the result of values and choices.  I’ve often lived in locations that didn’t require a car (i.e. New York City).  My lack of mobile property meant significant savings (i.e. payments, insurance, fuel, maintenance).  A lot of people in their early twenties spend significant funds on “partying.”   I worked long hours in my early twenties so my income was directed elsewhere.   Over the years, I purchased graphic art and historical relics.  My collection isn’t huge but it reflected my values and choices.  A typical leftist dictatorship would see my humble collection as a gross example of unfairness.  “This art belongs to “the People”.    Of course, “the people” didn’t choose art over cars and bars. Many of the people wouldn’t even like a collection of engravings and etchings, let alone know what they are.  No problem. If “the people” don’t want other people’s art collections, the government and the “party” will always be glad to step in as middle man in the perennial role of state thief.

I remember once debating an intelligent leftist (some are intelligent😉).  He was furious over a statement I made regarding “my money.” I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have liked references to “my art collection” either.  Money is merely a symbol of energy — ultimately mental energy.  The thought and work one puts into existence can be temporarily stored as precious metals, land, or paper promissory notes (cash) etc.

In the end, all the speculation one directs to the issue of property comes down to freedom.

Are we free to decide how we direct the limited resources available to us?  There are people who started with nothing and amassed fortunes. Likewise, those of considerable wealth that lost everything. And, of course, every circumstance in between. No matter what system evolves or is imposed, property and wealth will always be subject to the whims of fate and free volition.  When the state steps in, the method of acquisition is always theft (unless they ask for voluntary donations — ‘not likily).

Jealousy is a type of greed.  In the end, it isn’t property that some are jealous of but jealousy of the choices others have made that place them on the economic spectrum.

We can chastise a wolf who urinates on a perimeter marking an area he sees as “his”  or, in the human sphere, demand that one’s property be seized for an imaginary “greater good” under the auspices of a very powerful thief.

 Good vs. Evil

“Endowed by our creator”

The comments made  by Senator Tim Kaine (a former vice presidential candidate) at a recent committee hearing are beyond symbolic.  (Note the response by Senator Cruz half way through the video). Kaine took great offense at the idea expressed that our rights do not come from government but from god.

While I’m sympathetic to sincere religious belief, I’m not particularly religious.  However, it has been the cornerstone of philosophies that champion individual liberty that it is a condition established before governments and laws get their foot in the door.  Whether one’s references are to “God” or simply “natural rights,” belief in “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” rests upon a belief that government is not the motivating force behind free society.  In fact, the issue requires vigilance as the state is forever a looming threat to freedoms.

Democrats true colors become clearer everyday.  The fact that they worship at the alter of an omnipotent state has been plain for quite some time.  Human liberty is the precondition of anything the state may come up with.  The “Truths [should be] self-evident.”

They span the spectrum, from idealistic, intellectual, erudite, belligerent, and stupid. None of them seem to fathom a basic reality.  Socialism and all its permutations require a powerful central state to impose the arbitrary will of that state.  To favor the socialist state requires faith that its decisions will be correct, just, and uncorrupted by authority and power. …That’s asking a lot.

The Deification of Absurdity

The historically recent permutations in sexual behavior aren’t as novel as they may appear. They may appear novel to us because the dominance of sanity is fading.

Chaos shows itself in a number of ways when the natural cycles of empire reach a point of turbulence.  There are always variations on humans’ most instinctual behaviors but eccentric behaviors are limited, marginalized, and typically dwell within the hidden underbelly of society.  One would not likily find among blue-collar middle class families of the 1950s, men who considered changing the physical expression of their sex.  That’s not to say that it’s actually all that common now but the movers and shakers of public opinion would have us believe every novelty is the norm.

Media, entertainment, “education,” and other mouthpieces of “change” would have us believe that an explosion of absurdity in human behavior is not only “normal” but worthy of honor.

It wasn’t that long ago that seeing a man in a dress and cosmetic excess would simply result in snickers. A particularly rude person might hurl an offensive insult. There were no doubt some who would come to defend such a novel lifestyle choice but demanding that children see such behavior as worthy of honor or emulation was nonexistent.

It almost seems like every week in recent years found promotion of more and more bizarre behaviors.  Not behaviors to tolerate, but worship

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that the pendulum has at least conspired to slow down some of the nonsense.  In a Democratic society dominated by a middle class, most are fairly tolerant of others but the demand that we honor and worship at the alter of absurdity is wearing thin on most.

The ideal may not be the most tolerant but maybe it would be best to go back to the era of muffled snickers and leave “Drag Queen Story Hour” for Drag Queens…and not children.
